A good pickup changes your next move. Learn what it does before you chase it into traffic.
These base pickup values come from the same shared configuration as the game. They are points, not a promise of a fixed number of body segments.

Draws food and collectible powerups toward you in a forward cone. It does not reach behind your worm.
Adds 15% speed per stack, up to 4 stacks. Leave room to turn.
Makes your turns sharper, helping you change direction in tight spaces.
Extends your visible area so you can see more of the nearby arena.
Short suction streaks flow into your worm's mouth while the magnet is active. This compact effect is not a range outline: the attraction area is a wider forward cone. It attracts both food and collectible powerups, not just food. Items behind you are outside the cone: steer toward a pickup instead of circling with your tail nearest to it. The ordinary food pickup radius has no permanent circle around your worm.
Timed effects normally add 30 seconds per pickup, up to 10 minutes. Watch the active-powerup display during your run rather than assuming an effect is still active.
Online and Practice are not identical here: speed lasts until death online, but is timed in Practice. In Practice, 10× and 15× use the 6× multiplier slot and refresh their timer instead of extending it. These are current mode differences, not paid upgrades.
Food and pickup points contribute to your score-driven growth. New length starts at the final existing tail point and unfolds as you move. Your radar will not lead you straight to powerups: it is a navigation and combat aid, not a resource scanner.
